Description

The Department of Commerce has been established at the Model College of Science and Commerce, Kalyan East, Since the establishment of the institution in the year 2002. Over the years, the Department has established itself as an axis of excellence in Commerce education, providing high-quality education and training to students for a sustainable career in the corporate world.

The Department's focus is on providing academically efficient and professionally relevant teaching. In addition, the department offers value-added programs to enhance the students' expertise and skills in various aspects, including guest lectures, seminars, cultural and sports activities. The Department aims to develop positive attitude, excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial abilities among students which are essential for success in the corporate world.

The Faculties of the Department of Commerce at Model College of Science and Commerce, Kalyan, are experienced professionals who empower a diverse community of students through high-quality teaching-learning processes. The Department also provides a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas and discuss startup plans through Business Plan Competitions, for inculcate the qualities of entrepreneurship and creativity among students.

The success of the Department of Commerce is evident from the fact that its graduates are working in multinational companies, running their own businesses, and/ or pursuing higher studies in commerce. Overall, the Department of Commerce at Model College of Science and Commerce Kalyan, is committed to providing value-based education and shaping the future of commerce education.
